Victor Osimhen to Arsenal: Fabrizio Romano gives major transfer update
Transfer rumours surrounding Napoli star Victor Osimhen continue to grow as the summer window approaches and the Nigeria international remains in terrific form, with Arsenal one of those clubs thought to be interested in the forward.
The Gunners are among a string of Premier League sides who are chasing the 24-year-old, who has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €60 million. Chelsea and Manchester United have also been closely associated with the player as they chase a No.9.
Napoli, though, are only likely to sell for a far greater fee given the probability of a bidding war and the hype that has built around the player.

Osimhen, meanwhile, has fanned the flames of a move to one of England’s biggest comments lately.
“A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest league but now I’m in one of the best leagues in the world which is the Italian Serie A,” he said earlier this week.
“I’m working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League some day but like I said, it’s a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well.”

Romano gives Osimhen to Arsenal update
Arsenal fans hoping that they might see their club swoop in the summer for Osimhen, though, have been given a reality check by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Writing for CaughtOffside, Romano gave an update on the situation and stated that Mikel Arteta is likely to have other priorities this summer.
“I don’t have it confirmed, as of now. Arsenal have Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah, Folarin Balogun and also, Osimhen’s price tag will be really huge. I think Arsenal have different priorities for this summer, including a new midfielder,” he said.
If Arsenal move for a striker in the summer, then, it is unlikely to be a superstar name like Osimhen. For example, FootballTransfers has already suggested this €42m Ligue 1 striker might be a fine alternative to Gabriel Jesus.
