Kompany joins Nagelsmann and Pochettino on Chelsea's managerial shortlist
Burnley manager Vincent Kompany is a shock candidate to become the next permanent head coach at Chelsea as the Blues board deliberate over who should take over at Stamford Bridge.

Mauricio Pochettino is also on the club's shortlist and he is said to have pushed his name up the list having excited the Chelsea board during the interview process.

Kompany to Chelsea?
The former Manchester City defender has led Burnley to promotion from the Championship this season, with the Clarets currently on 92 points in the second tier of English football. They will be confirmed champions with three points in their final four league matches of the campaign.
Tottenham Hotspur are also monitoring Kompany's situation at Burnley and are interested in appointing him as Antonio Conte's successor after the Italian was sacked last month.
Spurs are keen on Chelsea target Nagelsmann, while Luis Enrique has been linked with the role. Enrique has reportedly been ruled out of contention for the Chelsea head coach job.
