Why Ten Hag will have to rethink his No.9 options
Erik ten Hag may have to rethink his main targets for the striking department.
It’s well-documented that the Manchester United boss is looking to bring in a world-class talent for the N0.9 role in the summer window.
A recent report suggested that Ten Hag will be wanting to do his summer business early - Sky Sports suggested that he wants to sign a striker before anything else and his ideal scenario is to have the new signings ahead for the majority of pre-season.

But this may mean he will have to look for alternatives to Victor Osimhen and Harry Kane.
For instance, Fabrizio Romano recently said on his YouTube channel: “Napoli have not decided the price tag for Osimhen yet and that is going to be a crucial one to understand who is really going to make a proposal for him in the summer.
"It is true that Bayern will be in the market for a striker and Osimhen is appreciated but it's not the only option they have on the list.
“Paris and German are in the market for a striker - Luis Campos trusted Osimhen at Lille - but also Chelsea and Man Utd have his name in the list, so four clubs race nothing has been decided yet - but we have to wait on Napoli to decide on the potential price tag, but trust me this will be a slow deal in the market - and not an easy one at all because Napoli will fight in all the possible ways.”
Kane will prove tough
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Daniel Levy will do everything he can to make sure that Kane remains with Tottenham.
The club’s all-time scorer has a fee of £100million slapped on him despite only having a year left on his deal with the north London side.
