Nicolo Barella may depart from Inter Milan at the end of the season for a price of €50 million - amid links to Liverpool and Chelsea.

While his performances this season have not been impressive, Liverpool and Chelsea are both reportedly interested in acquiring him, according to CalcioMercato, and may make a move for him during the upcoming transfer window.

With Naby Keita set to depart Liverpool on a free transfer, Barella could be an ideal replacement, bringing much-needed creativity and technical ability to the midfield. Similarly, Chelsea will need to find a quality replacement for Jorginho, who left the club in the January transfer window, and Barella could be an excellent option.

Despite his underwhelming performances this season, the 25-year-old still has room for improvement with coaching and experience. He has the potential to develop into a top-class midfielder in the Premier League, and his reported asking price of €50 million could prove to be a bargain in the long run.

Barella's skillset includes creativity, control, and technicality in the midfield, which will assist both Liverpool and Chelsea in breaking down tough opposition defences with his movement, passing, and vision. Having been regarded as a world-class talent while at Cagliari, Barella has the potential to be a valuable long-term acquisition for both Premier League clubs.
