Man Utd wonderkid branded 'club’s greatest ever loanee'
Manchester United star Amad Diallo has been named as Sunderland's greatest ever loanee by fan website Roker Report following his immense campaign at the club.
Amad, 20, joined the Championship side on loan ahead of the 2022/23 season, and he has begun to show just why Man Utd paid an initial €21.3 million to sign him from Atalanta back in 2021, despite having never started a senior game for the Bergamo club.
Amad has netted 12 goals and provided two assists in 33 Championship appearances this term, helping Sunderland to within inches of the play-offs.

They are currently sat in ninth place in the second tier of English football, but are just two points behind Blackburn Rovers, who currently occupy the final play-off spot.
Shay Given, Jonny Evans, Danny Welbeck and Danny Rose have also been credited for their loan spells at Sunderland, although Given is the only one that can rival Amad, according to Roker Report.
Amad's form has seen him nominated for the Championship Young Player of the Year award, alongside Bristol City's Alex Scott and Middlesbrough's Hayden Hackney.

Amad at Man Utd
Amad has made nine appearances for Man Utd since arriving in 2021, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
He embarked on a loan move to Rangers last season, netting three goals in 13 games in Scotland, before returning to England to join Sunderland in the 2022 summer transfer window.
Earlier this season, Amad snubbed Cristiano Ronaldo and named Marcus Rashford as his best ever team-mate, and he could be lining up on the opposite flank to the Englishman next campaign.
Diallo will return to Man Utd at the end of the season, hoping to become a regular under Ten Hag. His current deal at Old Trafford is set to expire in 2025.
