'Absolutely abysmal' - Arsenal fans react to losing Premier League title
Manchester City are the Premier League champions for the 2022/23 season after Arsenal were beaten by Nottingham Forest.
The Gunners' title hopes had long since faded and now it has been officially confirmed. A decisive first-half strike from Taiwo Awoniyi was enough to down Mikel Arteta's men at the City Ground and hand Manchester City the title.
This result means that Arsenal have dropped points for the sixth time in eight games, which is nowhere near good enough if you want to win the Premier League against Pep Guardiola's outrageous team. They gave it a good go to even challenge, but the Gunners have well and truly crumbled in recent times, though it must be said that they weren't helped by an untimely injury to key player William Saliba.

This won't ease the pain for Gooners, however, and the Arsenal faithful took to Twitter to vent their frustration with yet another disappointing result from their beloved team. Some even took a shot at the little dog Mikel Arteta brought to training recently!
