Kieran Tierney edges closer to Arsenal exit as Gunners chase Real Madrid star
Kieran Tierney's time at Arsenal could be set to come to an end this summer with news of interest in Real Madrid left-back Ferland Mendy.
Tierney, 27, has started just five Premier League games this season, with summer signing Oleksandr Zinchenko preferred by Mikel Arteta.
The Scottish international has been linked with a move to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, with FootballTransfers exclusively breaking the news of interest from the reigning Premier League champions back in April.

It's believed that is his most likely destination if he is to be moved on this summer, something that is now looking set to happen.
According to the Mirror, Real Madrid have told Mendy that he is free to leave the club this summer after being displaced by Eduardo Camavinga in the starting XI. Nacho Fernandez and David Alaba have both also filled in at left-back in place of Mendy, while Fran Garcia has been heavily linked with a move to Los Blancos this summer.
The report details that the Frenchman will cost roughly €20 million this summer, with Real Madrid willing to take a loss on the player they signed for €48m from Lyon back in 2019.

Mendy's contract at Real Madrid is set to expire in 2025 and he was reportedly been informed that the club will not offer him an extension as they view him as surplus to requirements.
Tierney to leave Arsenal?
After losing Joao Cancelo to Bayern Munich on loan, Man City queried about the availability of Tierney, but Arsenal rejected City’s move at the time because Tierney was their only recognised cover at left-back, while selling to a title rival was always likely to prove problematic in the middle of the season.
The interest from the defending Premier League champions remains ahead of the summer, at which point they will seek to secure a transfer for the Scotland international.
Any deal, though, is set to hinge on Arsenal’s asking price for the player. It is not clear what this might be set at.
Arsenal still have Nuno Tavares in their ranks, who has spent the season on loan at Marseille in Ligue 1. The Gunners have also been linked with Galatasary Sacha Boey.
