Best Netherlands goalkeeper 'certain' to make Premier League move
Mark Flekken is almost certain to make a transfer to Brentford, Klemens Hartenbach, the sports director of his club SC Freiburg, has told Sky.
The Dutchman has been in the explicit interest of the Premier League club for months and now seems certain to be making the switch. He has played with the club from Germany since 2018.
Hartenbach said before the last game of the season against Eintracht Frankfurt that it 'looks very likely' that Flekken will play his last game for Freiburg.

The sports director is cautious about this and says that he is not yet sure whether 'everything has been completely signed'. "But that's the plan," he emphasised.
Voetbal International reports that Brentford will transfer about €13million for Flekken. He had signed a contract extension in September, but the club did not announce until when the new contract ran until.
According to data from FootballTransfers, Flekkenhas a Skill of 67.6, making him the best Dutch goalkeeper at the moment. Marco Bizot (65.2) and Justin Bijlow (64.1) are in second and third place respectively.
Flekken thrives in Germany
In 2009, Flekken went from Roda JC youth side to that of Allemania Aachen and has since only played in Germany. Via Greuther Furth and MSV Duisburg, the four-time international eventually ended up at Freiburg. At the club from South West Germany, he played a total of 95 matches, in which he kept his goal clean 30 times.
