WATCH: 'Time for Mendy to learn Chinese' after Chelsea HOWLER
Edouard Mendy committed an absolute howler during Chelsea’s game against Nottingham Forest.
The shot-stopper misjudged a cross coming in and Reds attacker Taiwo Awoniyi was there to bounce on the loose ball and fire it into the net.
Mendy has been on the sidelines for the most part for the Blues this season, with Kepa Arrizabalaga being the first-choice No.1.

Mendy was given the go-ahead ahead of the Spaniard for their game against Forest, with Frank Lampard recently commenting that both the Senegal international and Kepa had been doing well in training.
Lampard said ahead of the clash against Steve Cooper’s men: “It is an opportunity that I think for his part is well deserved from how he's training. We've got two very good goalkeepers here that have played for us and Kepa's playing really well."

But Mendy was at fault for the opening goal of the game, with many Chelsea fans online tearing their hair out over the 31-year-old’s mistake - saying that he must be one of the players that needs to be moved on in the upcoming transfer window.

Chelsea are starting Edouard Mendy, who hasn’t played since before the World Cup. Lewis Hall the 18 year old left back starts. They paid about £200m for the players on their bench
