‘Sack Ten Hag’ - Man Utd pushed to sign rival Premier League manager
Some Manchester United supporters have called for the club to sack Erik ten Hag and hire Roberto De Zerbi instead.
The Dutchman could not help his side on the south coast as they lost 1-0 to Brighton on Thursday night.
After a deadlock throughout normal time, Luke Shaw raised an arm following a Seagulls’ corner and the referee checked his pitchside monitor and pointed to the spot.

Alexis Mac Allister finished with the penalty to clinch the win for Brighton.
It marks another poor loss for Ten Hag while playing away from Old Trafford. Against the league’s top nine this season, Man Utd have played eight, losing seven, and drawing one.
Some of the biggest losses include the 4-0 defeat against Brentford and the 6-3 thrashing from Manchester City.
The nadir, though, was getting demolished 7-0 at Anfield, with Liverpool enjoying arguably their best victory of the season.
But the loss at the Amex has seen some fans start to turn - saying that De Zerbi, who is having a tremendous first season in charge of Brighton, would have been a better fit for Man Utd over Ten Hag.
The idea has not come without criticism, though.
Ten Hag out?
I know I’m going to get a lot of stick for this.
I would sack Ten Hag and go for De zerbi.
Been in there jobs for the same amount of time and the difference when we have played is massive.— Harry 🇬🇧💫 (@utdHarryy) May 4, 2023
I can't agree with any managerial change until we get more of his profile of players in. De Zerbi can't play his style with our players.

Sacking a successful manager to go for a Brighton manager 🤔🤔it’s almost like Chelsea failed at doing the exact same thing

You're not factoring in that De Zerbi has spent much more time with his team on the training pitch this season as well as starting from a more stable possession base

What part of “backing the manager” don’t you understand? If it’s too difficult for you then go watch darts or snooker where there are no managers

We haven't got the players to play his type of football, so we would be back to square one.

Every option should be under consideration if they miss out on top 4.

I am not a man utd fan but at least give Ten hag 2-3 season with some new players here and there then see what happens.
