Arsenal fans 'won't forgive' transfer target Caicedo for injuring Martinelli

Arsenal fans are up in arms after Moises Caicedo injured Gabriel Martinelli.

During the first-half of Arsenal’s clash with Brighton at the Amex, the midfielder’s tackle saw the Brazil ace substituted, being unable to continue in the Premier League match.

The Gunners had made two bids for Caicedo during the January transfer window, but both offers were turned down by the Seagulls.

Despite the rejection, it is thought that Mikel Arteta remains a huge fan of the player, and there have been links with Caicedo and a move to north London ahead of the summer transfer window.

But his recent challenge has upset a number of Arsenal fans, who believe that Martinelli could be sidelined for the rest of the season now.

The attacker has been a crucial component in Arsenal’s quest for the title this season, being one of the Premier League’s standout players.

In any case, it could be that his season is now over, following the coming together with Caicedo on Sunday afternoon. And Arsenal supporters are not happy.
