‘Most likely scenario’ for Bellingham transfer revealed

Jude Bellingham is set to complete a transfer away from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, with a string of Europe’s leading clubs interested in the England midfielder.

Boasting an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €100 million, the 19-year-old is regarded as one of the greatest players in the world already – and is someone who is expected to flourish over the next decade or more.

Manchester City and Liverpool have been the most interested clubs in the Premier League, with FootballTransfers revealing that the Reds still carry an interest in the England star, despite reports to the contrary.

Manchester United and Chelsea have also been credited with watching the youngster closely.

According to Bild, though, “the most likely scenario” for Bellingham in the summer is that he moves to Real Madrid.

Increasingly, the tendency appears for Bellingham to be off to the Bernabeu, where Los Blancos have invested richly in their midfield over the course of the last two years, attracting two major young talents in the form of Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni to their squad.

The indications now coming from Germany would suggest that is a probability.

Why Real Madrid will win the Bellingham transfer race

Although Real Madrid’s finances are not as strong as they might like, Carlo Ancelotti’s side can afford to focus on one or two positions to strengthen in the summer. This gives them an edge over many of their Premier League rivals, who are not in a position to put all their transfer eggs in one basket.

Both Man Utd and Chelsea have numerous areas they need to bolster in the weeks ahead, while Liverpool, who are typically conservative in the market, have doubtless been taken aback by the number of areas they need to strengthen.

This leaves City as the Spaniards’ main rivals for the youngster’s signature, and the indications have been that Bellingham would like to join a club that has a tradition at the top of the game.

It is all coming together, then, for Real Madrid to sign Bellingham but a deal still needs to be agreed with Dortmund, who want to retain a player under contract until 2025.
