Ten Hag reveals De Gea future plans
Erik ten Hag has spoken about his plans to keep David de Gea ahead of next season amid talks of a new contract.
The Dutchman was quizzed about Manchester United’s underfiring No.1 and his future, with his contract set to expire next month.
He responded that the club want to see the Spaniard remain at Old Trafford. Sunday’s game against Fulham could be De Gea’s last at the club unless he pens fresh terms.

The veteran has been in talks with Man Utd for months but they are yet to reach an agreement.
But Ten Hag believes that the 32-year-old will extend his time at the club.
He said in a press conference: “I think we want him to stay and he wants to stay so I think we will find each other.”
“My job is to first identify, then nominate the right players,” Ten Hag said. “Then it is up to the club.”
Ten Hag was also asked about the takeover, with the third round of bids now in and the Glazers still having not announced a preferred bidder, and if the saga could impact on the incoming transfer window.
He said: “I can’t tell at this moment. You have to ask the right people about this situation.”
“We can still improve with this squad, as we did this season,” he added. “We made huge progress. Many individuals made progress. Now we have a good base. I think there is still a lot of room for improvement with this squad.

De Gea joined from Atletico Madrid in 2011, making 543 appearances for the club. He won the Premier League Golden Glove for this season.
But the club have seemingly made plans to bring in another goalkeeper to compete with De Gea next season. It is thought that even if De Gea did stay, he could be heading down the pecking order.
