Man Utd could land major target for bargain €50m – Fabrizio Romano
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has numerous areas of his squad that he wants to improve this summer, so doing so for a bargain price is undoubtedly appealing for the former Ajax boss, who will have to manage his budget closely.
According to Fabrizio Romano, United could land one of their main transfer targets at a bargain price this July.
Romano has revealed that Napoli centre-back Kim Min-jae has a clause in his current deal that will allow him to leave the Serie A champions for just €50 million this summer.

The deal, however, is rather unique as this clause will only be active for a couple of weeks at the beginning of July.
This clause has been reported since Kim’s performances saw him increasingly grow in prominence, but now Romano has confirmed its existence to the United Stand.

Reports in Italy suggest that Napoli will otherwise only consider bids of around €60m – making him a bargain at this reduced price.
Kim may have an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €25m, but he has grown immensely in stature this season and has become one of Serie A’s leading players since joining Napoli from Fenerbahce for €18.1m last summer.
Napoli working on new deal
Napoli are now racing against time to have Kim, who is contracted to the club until 2025, sign a new contract as Manchester United and others circle.
Romano says that they are not simply trying to abolish the clause the 26-year-old has in his contract but simply to change it so it is more advantageous to the club.
The transfer market specialist says that the situation with regards the South Korea international is “open”.
As well as Man Utd, Liverpool and Real Madrid have also been linked with the defender over the course of the last six months.
