Sabitzer gives Man Utd Kolo Muani transfer update
Manchester United are in the market for a new No.9 and their hopes of signing Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt could be boosted by the presence of Marcel Sabitzer at Old Trafford.
Kolo Muani has emerged as a formidable goal-threat at Frankfurt this season, scoring 13 and assisting 12 more from his 28 Bundesliga appearances.
United want a new striker meanwhile: Wout Weghorst has failed to fill Cristiano Ronaldo's boots since joining on loan from Burnley, via Besiktas, in January, while 29-goal top scorer Marcus Rashford does his best work from the left flank.

Harry Kane and Victor Osimhhen are also understood to be at the top of Erik ten Hag's shopping list, but with Tottenham Hostpur and Napoli respectively demanding in excess of €100 million for their star strikers, Kolo Muani could be a viable alternative.

Sabitzer has impressed at United since joining on loan from Bayern Munich, meanwhile, and would like to make his stay permanent at the end of the season, and he has now lifted the lid on the chances of Kolo Muani following him to Manchester.
What did Sabitzer say?
"I know him, he's a very good player," he told Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg. "But I'm not involved in transfer activities. I can only say what kind of player he is. He's made an incredible step this year. So it's clear that many clubs are interested."

Kolo Muani is valued at €63.3m by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm, so he wouldn't come cheap, but he would likely be acquired for less than Kane or Osimhen.
It has previously been reported that Ten Hag will settle for a new No.9 this summer at the expense of reinforcements in other positions, with the Glazer family's sale of the club to either Sheikh Jassim or Sir Jim Ratcliffe rumbling on.
Sabitzer is valued at €23.7m, meanwhile, but it is understood Bayern will accept €20m in order to make his move a permanent one in June.
