Paris Saint-Germain are planning for life without Neymar, but how will they get rid of him?

The Brazilian megastar is still under contract for another two years, and there's even an option for a third, so the French giants are exploring several possibilities of getting out of this sizeable financial commitment early.

With PSG set for something of a reboot this summer without Lionel Messi and with a new coach, potentially Jose Mourinho, coming in, the French giants may need to spend big to rebuild their frontline, and freeing up Neymar's massive wages would help that endeavour.

At 31 years old, with frequent injury struggles and having recently been the subject of protests by the PSG faithful, Neymar is seen as disposable despite his lofty status. Now, Spanish paper SPORT claims to know how exactly PSG are trying to get rid of the man they once paid a world-record fee for.

Four options

One of the more, well, questionable solutions to the Neymar problem is apparently a swap deal with Manchester City. According to the Spanish outlet, PSG are offering Neymar in exchange for Bernardo Silva.

Would City accept a deal that would see them sacrifice one of their standout performers for an injury-prone player on exorbitant wages? It is doubtful.

Another option would be a regular transfer. Manchester United and Chelsea have both been repeatedly linked with the Brazilian, though whether they could afford to sign him given their potential run-ins with Financial Fair Play regulations and the ongoing uncertainty over United's budget is up for debate.

PSG sporting director Luis Campos is also considering sending Neymar out on loan. The inclusion of a purchase option would be up to the taker, while the French club would even be prepared to partially shoulder the Brazilian's wages, according to SPORT.

Finally, there is the possibility of a contract termination. But would Neymar agree to simply walk away from such a lucrative deal reportedly worth almost €37 million annually?
