Arsenal and Newcastle target FINED after transfer desire admission
RB Leipzig star Dominik Szoboszlai is set to be fined for giving an explosive unauthorised interview.
The Hungarian has long since flirted with a potential move away, previously being linked with Arsenal. Since his switch from sister club Red Bull Salzburg, Szoboszlai has become one of the Bundesliga's most exciting players and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) has risen accordingly, peaking at €59.8 million in April.
A skilful attacking midfielder with an outrageous shooting technique, the 22-year-old has racked up a solid nine goals and 13 assists across all competitions this term. His contract is fitted with a €70m release clause and Newcastle United are said to be his biggest suitors at the moment.

Indeed, Szobozslai has now admitted that he probably couldn't say no to an offer from a bigger club - which has ruffled some feathers at Leipzig.
Leipzig to fine their star
The 22-year-old recently gave a revealing interview to Hungarian outlet Index, but there was one small problem: it was conducted on Leipzig's premises without the club's authorisation, and the content of the interview didn't go down well with the higher-ups either.
"If I had the opportunity to take the next step and join one of the five or six best clubs in Europe, should I say no to that? I have never been that type of person."

"I'm in a really good position right now," he continued. "I don't want to look back at my career in 15 years and realise that I didn't make the most of it."
According to Kicker, Szoboszlai is to be hit with a hefty fine for his interview, while Newcastle continue to scout the player. Could his little escapade be a sign that he will move on this summer? The nouveau riche Magpies would certainly be able to pay his sizeable release clause.
