Aston Villa are targeting the signing of a star winger this summer, the only question is which one.
On Tuesday we exclusively revealed that Villa are expressing interest in underperforming Man Utd star Jadon Sancho.

The England man has been underwhelming in his two seasons at Old Trafford since that €85m move from Borussia Dortmund. And his poor performance in the FA Cup final defeat by Man City was the last straw for coach Erik Ten Hag.
Now Sancho is available at the right price, but that price according to our sources is €60m. Which means it could be a deal Villa are unable to seal.
Nico Williams tops Villa wanted list
Sancho is not the only option though, and now reports from Spain suggest there is another man at the very top of Unai Emery's shopping list - Athletic Bilbao sensation Nico Williams.
The 20-year-old Williams is under contract at San Mames until 2024, and has the option of a contract extension on the table. But leading daily Marca reports that he wants to move to the Premier League to further his career.
The paper also reports that there is a €50m release clause in Williams' contract - and that Villa are willing to trigger it for their number one summer target. He played 36 times for Athletic in La Liga in 2022-23 - grabbing 6 goals and providing 4 assists.
Right now FootballTransfers gives Williams an ETV (Estimated Transfer Value) of €24.6m.
Earlier this summer Villa had gone in hot pursuit of another big-name wide man in the shape of Real Madrid's Marco Asensio. But he is expected to sign for French giants PSG on a free transfer.
Emery's side have already made one successful high-profile swoop this summer with the capture of former Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans on a free transfer.
