Chelsea to send summer signing to 'new Vitesse'
Chelsea are going to send youngster Angelo Gabriel on loan to Ligue 1 club Strasbourg, once he completes a move to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are set to sign Gabriel from Brazilian club Santos for a fee of €15 million.
He is expected to sign a contract until 2028 and spend the first year on loan in France, according to The Athletic.

Gabriel is unlikely to be the only player making the switch from Chelsea to Strasbourg in this window, as the two clubs are now under the same ownership.
Indeed, the Blues' owners have bought a stake in the Ligue 1 team in a significant step towards a multi-club model similar to Manchester City's.
Strasbourg have been likened to Eredivisie club Vitesse, who previously had an agreement with Chelsea whereby they received numerous players on loan, including Mason Mount.
Who is Angelo Gabriel?
A pacy, left-footed dribbler, Angelo has mostly been utilised in a wide-forward role, preferring to play on the right wing.
The young Brazilian has been part of Santos' senior set-up since early 2021, as a 15-year-old, replacing Pele as the club's second-youngest debutant by 11 days in the process.

Since then, he has gone on to make more than 120 appearances for the club, but despite playing as an attacker, the 5 ft 8 in youngster has only scored five goals thus far.
Nevertheless, Angelo is an exciting talent because of his explosiveness and desire to take defenders on.
