The United States men's national team star appears to be on his way out of Chelsea, having struggled to live up to the hype that was generated by his time at Borussia Dortmund.

Pulisic, nicknamed 'Captain America,' barely featured for the Blues last term and he was even at one point booed by the Chelsea faithful. His lack of impact was emblematic of the London club's struggles in the bygone season and the fact that he still enjoys significant support across the pond despite his Chelsea performances is also said to have rubbed some fans the wrong way.

The feeling is that the 24-year-old's relationship with Chelsea is broken beyond repair and that he will be moved on this summer if the right offer comes in. This will be the biggest roadblock, however, the fact that few clubs can afford to match Chelsea's reported valuation.

Nevertheless, several sides are said to be interested, and new suitors have just joined the race to sign him.

Lyon keen

According to L'Equipe, Lyon are the latest club to have taken a keen interest in the prospect of signing Pulisic. In fact, the report claims that the American has emerged as a 'priority' for the French club coming off a disappointing seventh-place finish in Ligue 1.

Besides OL, several Italian clubs have been linked with Pulisic for weeks. Napoli are understood to be looking at the winger as a possible replacement for the potentially departing Hirving Lozano, while Juventus are also in the mix.

Most prominently linked have been AC Milan, however. The Rossoneri are looking to add a creative attacker to their ranks following the return of Brahim Diaz to Real Madrid after several years on loan with the Italian club. Pulisic fits the bill perfectly, and he would likely excel in a league like Serie A.
