TWO huge Chelsea transfers DONE - Romano
Two Chelsea transfers are 'done,' according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues need to trim down their bloated squad following Todd Boehly's €600 million spending spree. Accordingly, several players appear to be on their way out.
The likes of Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy seem to be heading to Saudi Arabia, with the former already spotted in the Gulf state. There are, however, also some players who are in negotiations with Premier League rivals, and two of those transfers are now done, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The first one is Mateo Kovacic's move to Manchester City, claims the Italian transfer expert. The 29-year-old has completed his medical and will join City in a deal worth £25m upfront and £5m in add-ons (€29m + €6m). He will replace Barcelona-bound Ilkay Gundogan in Pep Guardiola's side.
Havertz also done
The second one, according to Romano, is not Mason Mount to Manchester United, but Kai Havertz to Arsenal. The German will "undergo [a] medical in the next hours" and then join the Gunners for £65m (€76m).
He will be the first arrival of what is set to be a big summer for last season's Premier League runners-up. The deal to bring priority target Declan Rice to the Emirates is still in the works, while Arsenal are also eyeing another midfielder - with Romeo Lavia and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic linked - and a right-back to allow Ben White to act as centre-back cover.

As for Chelsea, though they will ultimately make a loss on Havertz, having signed him for €80m in 2020, this one may be a relatively easy pill to swallow. The German struggled to have the desired impact at Stamford Bridge, often being shoehorned into an unfamiliar centre-forward role in the absence of a reliable number nine.
The deals to sell Koulibaly, Mendy and Hakim Ziyech to Saudi Arabia are expected to be finalised in the coming days. N'Golo Kante has already departed for Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad on a free transfer.
