Liverpool transfer CLOSE? Thuram agent drops big hint
Khephren Thuram’s agent has dropped a hint that a move could be underway for the Nice midfielder who is linked with a transfer to Liverpool.
The Frenchman is being closely watched by the Reds as the summer window opens. The star’s representative Rafaela Pimenta, who is working with the player’s father, Lillian Thuram, posted a snap of herself at the Nice headquarters.
Thuram has been linked with a move to Anfield, with many believing that he will be the next in after the club snapped up Alexis Mac Allister for £35million.
FootballTransfers revealed that Liverpool had verbally agreed personal terms with Thuram and now the two clubs were speaking over a fee.
Thuram has been linked to Newcastle and Paris Saint-Germain as well, but it is thought that the latter two are unwilling to meet Nice’s fee of around £50m.

Thuram and Konate ‘brothers’
It comes after Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate admitted that he is keen for Thuram to move to Anfield this summer, saying that he is like his ‘little brother.
“'I would be very happy for him [Thuram] to come to Liverpool and I would take him under my wing and I would do everything for him to progress and become the player he wants to become,' Konate told RMC Sport.
“Khephren is like my little brother, he's someone I saw growing up. I was with his big brother [France international Marcus] in the training centre, but I saw him grow. I saw him perform and progress at a level… it was incredible.
“Even when he came to the France team for his first selection. I saw him at the training and I was really surprised by his size and his technical ease.”
FootballTransfers’ valuation sees Thuram’s Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €25.8m.
