Man Utd fans receive DOUBLE takeover blow
Manchester United fans will be less than happy about the latest news concerning the club’s takeover.
It’s been more than six months since the Glazer family put Man Utd up for sale, but the wait to find out who will take over at Old Trafford rumbles on.
There appears to be no end to the saga insight – and, in a potential twist which would hardly go down well given their unpopularity, all of the Glazers may maintain a stake in United.

A report from the Financial Times claims that no takeover deal is likely to be completed any time soon.
On top of that, it adds that the six Glazer siblings – co-chairs Joel and Avram, along with Bryan, Darcie, Edward and Kevin – could hold onto their shares in Man Utd as part of an offer from Sir Jim Ratcliffe (main picture).
Ratcliffe, the founder of chemicals conglomerate INEOS, is a lifelong United supporter and was recently named as the second-richest person in the UK by the Sunday Times – with an estimated net worth of £29m.

Takeover drama to impact United's European ambition?
While there has also been notable interest in Man Utd from prominent Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, Ratcliffe – who grew up on a council estate in the Manchester suburb of Failsworth – seems to be the clear favourite to take control at Old Trafford.
His fellow United supporters will certainly be hoping for a swift conclusion, with the club preparing to return to the Champions League next season.
As revealed by FootballTransfers this morning, the continued drawing out of the takeover process could interfere with Erik ten Hag’s transfer plans – including a possible swoop for Chelsea’s Mason Mount.
