Man Utd sent €100m warning over Osimhen by European giants
Bayern president Herbert Hainer has announced that the Munich club will spend big on a striker this summer amid links with Victor Osimhen.
The Bavarian giants claimed their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title by the skin of their teeth last month and this is clearly not good enough. Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic were sacked during the title celebrations and a new sporting leadership is set to be unveiled eventually.
Despite some uncertainty in the recruitment department, Bayern already have a clear idea of which players to target this summer. Replacing Robert Lewandowski with Sadio Mane and changing the system to accommodate the new recruit proved unsuccessful, so the Munich outfit will target a traditional number nine in the upcoming window.

This could bring them into conflict with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, who are being linked with the same players as Bayern. While many would consider the Premier League to be more attractive and lucrative, Bayern boss Herbert Hainer has quite openly made it clear that the Germans are prepared to spend up to €100 million on a striker if they have to.
What did Hainer say?
Speaking to BILD-TV, Hainer said: "...FC Bayern is capable of spending €100 million. But for that to happen, everything has to come together. It is well-established that we are looking for a striker. But there is a limited number of options and they are all very expensive. We are on the right path, however."
"We will," he added, "pay close attention to the market and then decide who fits FC Bayern best. We are going to spend a lot of money." They are looking for "a striker who is good enough for FC Bayern in order to help us challenge in national and international competitions."

"There are of course several strikers [who are being considered] and their names are obviously always mentioned in the media. Be it Kolo Muani, be it Osimhen, Harry Kane, Vlahovic - there are several."
