Man Utd takeover: DISASTER for Ten Hag as Glazers stall again
Manchester United may not have new owners by the time the 2023-24 Premier League season kicks off in August.
According to Mike Keegan of the Daily Mail, United's current owners, the Glazers, have yet to decide who will take over the club.
The two leading contenders are Qatari Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani and British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Both offers are said to be over £5 billion but less than the Glazers' £6bn asking price.

But the critical piece of information is that once they have finally made their decision, there will then be an 'approval process' which could take between eight to 12 weeks.
This means that United are unlikely to have new owners by September, so they will not have more money to spend in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils' current budget reportedly stands at around £120 million, until players are sold.
This is not the remarkable amount that Erik ten Hag and United would fans would have hoped for.
Man Utd's summer transfer targets
Man Utd have already had to pull out of the race to sign Harry Kane as they lack the finances to complete a deal.
Meanwhile they are in pole position to sign Chelsea star Mason Mount but remain a long way off finding an agreement.

The Blues' are looking for £70m for their two-time Player of the Season award winner, whereas United's initial bid was just £40m.
Ten Hag's side are also keen on the likes of Rasmus Hojlund, Kim Min-jae and David Raya.
But the Dutchman may have to settle for less after hearing the takeover news.
