Man Utd Transfer News Today: Romano Kim Min-jae BOMBSHELL, Mbappe LATEST and takeover NIGHTMARE
Man Utd are reeling from a transfer news BOMBSHELL after renowned expert Fabrizio Romano delivered a major update on the future of Napoli defender Kim Min-jae.
The South Korean star was one of the big reasons the Italian side recently claimed their first Scudetto since the days of Diego Maradona.
And Erik ten Hag and United made it a summer priority to capture the physical presence known as 'The Monster', the man his coach Luciano Spalletti has described as "the best defender in the world".

The fact the player has a €60m release clause in his contract which activates on July 1 must now be the worst kept secret in football. Multiple clubs are bidding to sign him, but until this week Man Utd appeared to be a strong favourite.

The two parties are apparently close to agreeing personal teams as talks progress at pace, while United are apparently being left behind.
Of the Old Trafford giants, Romano merely said: "United remain interested but it was never done". We've heard this one before...
Will Emanuel Macron stop Mbappe Man Utd move?
News of Man Utd interest in Kylian Mbappe - particularly our revelation that prospective club owner Sheikh Jassim had already held talks with the French superstar - had fans at peak excitement levels this week.
There is a long way to go though before that interest becomes concrete, and there are many obstacles along the way. Interestingly, they could include French President Emmanuel Macron.

Macron said earlier this week that he would try to persuade Mbappe to stay in France with PSG, but the player himself says the politician will have zero say.
Mbappe - currently on international duty - said: "What influence does the President have? On my career today, in 2023, none."
The 24-year-old striker did though go on to say: "He wants me to stay in Paris, my objective is to stay. We're on the same wavelength."
Mbappe might want to stay for another year, but the likelihood remains he will be sold this summer after PSG handed him an ultimatum this week. 'Extend your contract beyond 2024, or we sell'.
Ten Hag ready to step up Mason Mount bid
There was zero surprise when United failed with their opening offer for Chelsea's England midfielder Mason Mount - it was merely an opening shot in the summer negotiations.
After that £40million bid was rejected, the Red Devils are now expected to return with a higher offer.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Red Devils "will be back" with a second bid in the near future.
Jacobs claims that Chelsea have no intention of softening their stance and budging from their stated valuation. United, for their part, are not willing to offer more than £60m (€70m) - so what now?
Takeover saga could DESTROY Man Utd transfer plans
The ongoing takeover saga continues at Man Utd, and it could totally DESTROY the club's summer transfer plans.
Erik ten Hag is keen to upgrade his squad after a promising first season in charge, with big plans for new additions in the summer window.
Right now those acquisitions seem a pipedream with such a complicated ownership situation at Old Trafford.
We know the Glazers want to sell, but they are no closer to making a decision on whether the new owner will be British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe or Qatar's Sheikh Jassim.
According to Mike Keegan of the Daily Mail, the American family are still to make a final decision, and this could have disastrous transfer ramifications.
The critical piece of information is that once they have finally made their choice, there will then be an 'approval process' which could take between eight to 12 weeks.
This means that United are unlikely to have new owners by September, so they will not have more money to spend in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils' current budget reportedly stands at around £120 million, until players are sold. Not enough to do what Ten Hag is asking for.
