Man Utd Transfer News Today: Major Rabiot BOOST, Romano gives Mount HOPE and Caicedo 'DREAM'
Man Utd are right back in the race to sign France midfielder Adrien Rabiot as the clock ticks down to him becoming a free agent.
The 28-year-old Juventus star's current deal in Turin will expire on Friday, and he has been offered a new one-year pact by the Italian giants.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport though, Rabiot would prefer a move to the Premier League and has been holding out in the hope Man Utd would rekindle their past interest. And now it HAS happened.
Per Gazzetta, United have reopened talks with Rabiot and his agent/mother Veronique. They are putting forward a salary proposal and an agent commission for Veronique.
Juventus are still hopeful Rabiot will stay, but it appears Man Utd would be the player's preferred destination. It would bring to an end a long-running chase from Erik ten Hag, who almost bought Rabiot last year and then again in January.
Man Utd the ONLY option for Mount - Fabrizio Romano
Mason Mount is bent on joining Man Utd this summer - in fact it is his only option according to respected transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
Erik ten Hag is desperately trying to prise Mount away from Chelsea, but as yet the clubs have yet to agree a fee. United have offered £55m while Chelsea have countered with a demand for £58m plus £7m in add-ons.
Amid reported interest from Bayern Munich, Romano revealed that there has been no official interest from the German giants - despite the fact Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel is of course a big Mount fan.
Romano says that Mount will either join Man Utd this summer, or let his contract run down and leave Chelsea as a free agent in the summer of 2024. No other possibility exists in his mind.
Caicedo reveals Man Utd DREAM as transfer chaos rumbles on
Man Utd have threatened to switch their attention to Brighton star Moises Caicedo if Chelsea don't play ball on a transfer fee for Mount.
And it appears they could be knocking on an open door with the Ecuadorian midfielder if they do make an approach.
This is because Caicedo said way back in 2020 that joining Man Utd was his 'dream' and he wanted to follow the path trodden by his countryman Antonio Valencia in days gone by.
According to The Mirror, Caicedo said in an interview with The Athletic: “My dream is to play for Manchester United. Antonio Valencia is an example to follow. With his strength and dedication, he was able to get to that level. That motivates me to keep working hard and do the right things.”
Ten Hag set to put ELEVEN Man Utd stars up for SALE
Erik ten Hag will allow ELEVEN Man Utd players to leave Old Trafford this summer as he desperately looks to raise cash for more summer signings.
The Dutch manager is reportedly looking to add around £100m to the transfer kitty with his massive sale. This against the backdrop of the ongoing takeover saga with Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe looking to acquire the club.
The list of players on the way out includes England defender Harry Maguire, Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek, French striker Anthony Martial and Brazilian midfielder Fred.
Goalkeeper David De Gea is also expected to leave for free when his contract ends this week after so far failing to agree a reduction to his massive £375,000 weekly salary.
