Ten Hag gets Glazers 'green light' for first summer transfer
Erik ten Hag has been given the green light to sign Mason Mount from Chelsea.
ESPN report that Man Utd are pushing ahead with a bid to sign the attacker despite ongoing uncertainty over the club's ownership heading into the summer transfer window.
The board, including co-chairmen Joel and Avram Glazer, have agreed to sign off on the deal which would see Mount leave Chelsea, his boyhood club, and head to Old Trafford.

Liverpool were keen on the player too, and now it’s about getting the valuation sorted, with some suggestions they want at least £80million.
Mount, who has a year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge, has knocked back a number of offers from Chelsea to sign fresh terms.
There is optimism that Man Utd can sort out a deal, though Ten Hag is growing concerned about the rest of his summer transfer plan, with it unclear just how much the Dutchman would be able to receive as a budget.
Takeover drags on
The Glazers are considering takeover offers from British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Qatari businessman Sheikh Jassim, but their manager has so far been kept in the dark about the proceedings.
There remains the next step of Raine Group, the merchant bank working on behalf of the Glazers, to name a preferred bidder out of the two, but the process has dragged on.
Ten Hag wants to sign a marquee striker like Harry Kane but Man Utd will not hang around if talks are dragged out by Tottenham.
Ten Hag would also like a new goalkeeper to compete for the No. 1 spot with David De Gea, and another midfielder as well.
The club are open to offers for Fred, Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial, Scott McTominay, Dean Henderson, Anthony Elanga, Eric Bailly and Alex Telles.
