Chelsea set HUGE asking price for Conor Gallagher
Chelsea are demanding a fee in excess of £40million for Conor Gallagher.
The club have set a huge number of the Englishman’s head amid links to Crystal Palace and Newcastle. The mass influx of players last season has not deterred the club from asking for a healthy sum in exchange for Gallagher - with the likes of Mateo Kovacic, N'Golo Kante, Denis Zakaria, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount all leaving the side.
Mauricio Pochettino is looking for an overhaul and has Brighton & Hove Albion's Moises Caicedo as a priority.
Gallagher is currently the best player to fit in alongside Enzo Fernandez, but the club are looking to improve the quality in midfield.

Regardless of whether the Ecuador international moves to the West Londoners or not, speculation persists regarding the future of Gallagher, who is currently best placed to partner Enzo Fernandez.
The 23-year-old has struggled to hold down a place in the starting XI throughout his time at Chelsea.
It’s thought that he is someone that Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital are prepared to sell in order to boost the club's FFP position.
But any sale would have to be around the £40m, reports Sky Sports News.
Another club linked is West Ham, who recently sold Declan Rice to Arsenal for £105m.

German links
Borussia Dortmund were also linked with Gallagher soon after the end of 2022-23, but the rumours have dwindled since then.
Gallagher has two years left on his deal at Chelsea. It is believed that a deal will only be struck if the player makes a push for a move in search of game time.
Indeed, there have been plenty of clubs linked, but nothing substantial has come of the reports.
Gallagher is a product of the Chelsea academy and enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at Palace before.
