Pulisic to Milan accidentally CONFIRMED by fellow summer signing
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has confirmed Christian Pulisic’s transfer from Chelsea to AC Milan before the Serie A club have officially announced the move.
Pulisic, 24, will join the Rossoneri for a reported €22 million fee after they emerged as his preferred destination, despite Lyon submitting a better offer to Chelsea.
In his first press conference since his own transfer from Chelsea to Milan, Loftus-Cheek revealed that he has spoken to the United States of America international and provided information on when Pulisic will be travelling to Milan.

“Christian Pulisic is coming [to Milan] tomorrow," Loftus-Cheek said in a press conference. "We have already spoken. He will really help us. I told him he has to give everything because he's among the best in the world.”
However, Loftus-Cheek has jumped the gun on Pulisic’s move as Milan have not yet formally announced the transfer.
The USMNT star also reportedly hasn’t completed his medical at Milan; it is likely he will pass this, but the winger has suffered 10 separate injuries and missed 55 games since joining Chelsea in 2019, so it’s not a foregone conclusion.

But, it is expected that Pulisic will undergo his medical on Wednesday ahead of signing a four-year deal at San Siro. He will leave Chelsea having made 145 appearances for the club.
Donovan slams Pulisic
Despite his imminent transfer, USMNT legend Landon Donovan thinks Pulisic should’ve rejected interest from Milan in favour of following Lionel Messi to the MLS.
Donovan, 41, believes that Pulisic’s uncertain Chelsea future provided the perfect opportunity to return to his homeland ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted in the USA.
Speaking to FOX Sports, Donovan admitted: “The World Cup is coming in three years. This is once in a lifetime. He’s going to be in the prime of his career, his life as a soccer player, his earning potential — I’m sure he’s making plenty of money — but the ability to come to MLS kind of like Messi did. I’m not so sure that wasn’t a big reason for Messi, the World Cup coming here.
“I think it would have been a great move for the Galaxy to go out and get Christian,” he continued. “Bring him here, pay whatever you have to pay him. Bring an American superstar who has global recognition back to MLS ahead of the World Cup. I think it would have been a great move and I can hear the Twitterverse going crazy.”
