Vlahovic BEGGED not to join Chelsea or Tottenham

Juventus fans have been filmed begging Dusan Vlahovic not to leave the club for Chelsea or Tottenham.

Vlahovic is available for transfer this summer as Juventus need to make a profit of around €140 million.

The Serbian has an asking price of around €80m and is expected to leave if the right offer comes in.

As Vlahovic arrived for the first day of pre-season in Turin, Juventus fans welcomed him warmly and pleaded with him not to leave. “One of us” and “Don’t leave” were uttered by Juventini.

FootballTransfers revealed on Monday that Tottenham are sounding out Vlahovic as a possible replacement for Harry Kane should the England captain leave to join Bayern Munich.

Chelsea are also interested in signing Vlahovic this summer as they continue their own search for a new number nine. A swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku has been mooted, although it frankly appears unlikely that the Belgian would agree to join Inter Milan’s bitter rivals.

Vlahovic’s disappointing Juventus transfer

Vlahovic arrived in Turin as one of the hottest properties in world football in January 2022 for €80 million from Fiorentina.

He had just scored the most goals in Serie A in a calendar year for 60 years and was posting numbers comparable to Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski.

He was wanted by a host of big clubs and rejected an official bid from Arsenal in order to join Juventus.

However, things have not worked out for him in Turin - although many have blamed the negative tactics of manager Max Allegri for not getting the best out of him.

He scored just 14 goals in 42 games this past season and his overall game has been extremely disappointing.

Man Utd have also been heavily linked with Vlahovic this year but interest has dried up in recent weeks.
