REVEALED: The four players Chelsea are DESPERATE to sell this week
Chelsea face a race against time to sell four unwanted stars before they return to the club’s Cobham training base next week.
The Blues have already offloaded six players during the summer transfer window, while Mason Mount will make that seven when his switch to Manchester United is officially confirmed.
The England international has posted a goodbye message to Chelsea fans on social media to confirm his imminent exit from the club.

However, Chelsea have not yet finished fine-tuning their squad for new boss Mauricio Pochettino, and the club would like to have sold Romelu Lukaku, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic in the next week, according to the Telegraph’s Matt Law.
The reason for this is Chelsea’s pre-season tour to the United States of America. Pochettino does not want to include any players who will not be at the club by the time the Premier League campaign kicks off against Liverpool in the club’s squad.
Chelsea’s first game of the tour is against Wrexham on 19 July, and Pochettino would like to have his squad settled by the time the Blues jet off to the US.

Furthermore, selling all four players before they report back to Cobham would ensure Pochettino isn’t forced to factor them into his training plans as he begins to implement his coaching methods.
Therefore, the Blues must find a way to offload all four players by the end of next week. Lukaku is wanted by Inter Milan, who are preparing to present Chelsea an offer of a one-year loan deal that includes an obligation to buy, while Aubameyang and Ziyech both have interest from the Saudi Pro League.
However, Ziyech failed his medical at Al-Nassr, which could make Chelsea’s life difficult as they look to shift him.
Pulisic has garnered interest from both Lyon and AC Milan, with the USMNT international favouring a move to the latter. But, so far, it’s Lyon who have offered more money for his services.
Who else might Chelsea sell?
In addition to the aforementioned four players, Callum Hudson-Odoi leave, and Nottingham Forest are the front-runners for his signature, as exclusively revealed by FootballTransfers" href="https://www.footballtransfers.com/en/transfer-news/uk-premier-league/2023/07/exclusive-chelsea-want-hudson-odoi-sale-with-forest-favourites" target="_blank">Chelsea are also willing to let Callum Hudson-Odoi leave, and Nottingham Forest are the front-runners for his signature, as exclusively revealed by FootballTransfers.
Ian Maatsen is wanted permanently by Burnley, but Vincent Kompany’s side have not yet met Chelsea’s asking price, while Conor Gallagher and Marc Cucurella are both of interest to Newcastle United, according to reports.
Chelsea have so far signed Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig and Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal this summer. The Blues are currently working on a deal to bring Moises Caicedo to Stamford Bridge, but a deal has not yet been agreed with Brighton & Hove Albion.
