EXCLUSIVE: Inter weigh up Chalobah move
Inter are looking to reopen talks with Chelsea over the sale of Trevoh Chalobah.
We are told that his current side are open to a sale despite the recent harrowing injury of Wesley Fofana. The Italian club, who recently pulled out of negotiations to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, have a long-standing interest in the defender and are considering whether to make an offer this summer window.
Indeed, Fofana has undergone anterior cruciate ligament surgery, meaning he could be out for several months.
The former Leicester player was not in action as Chelsea went on a pre-season tour in America.

"Wesley will now begin his recovery and work with the club's medical department at Cobham during his rehabilitation phase," said a Chelsea statement.
The France centre-back, who joined Chelsea from Leicester for £70m last summer, also broke his leg while with the Foxes in August 2021.
The injury meant he was out of action until the following March. 'It's really sad, really bad news. We feel all so sad. All we can do is help him," said Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino. "We know it's a tough injury but we hope he can be as soon as possible with the team."
Kalidou Koulibaly and Cesar Azpilicueta have left the club. Benoit Badiashile and Reece James did not go to the States either.

Chalobah, Levi Colwill, Alfie Gilchrist and Bashir Humphreys the main centre-back options available to Mauricio Pochettino on their tour.
Meanwhile, Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana is set to be announced by Manchester United in a deal worth £50m. It’s thought that the deal will be finalised next week.
The club’s efforts to sign Lukaku on a permanent have been dashed after rivals Juventus have come in.
