England star ‘HAS SAID YES’ to Bayern Munich transfer
Bayern Munich are poised to sign Kyle Walker from Manchester City, while the Bundesliga champions continue to chase the right-back’s England teammate Harry Kane from Tottenham.
Bayern have been in search of a reliable force on the right of their defence for months, with the loan deal to sign Walker’s Man City colleague Joao Cancelo in January not working out in the way either party would have wished.
Out of contract at City in 2024, the former Tottenham defender has previously been told by Pep Guardiola that he could have his first-team opportunities at the club limited, with rumours of a switch to Bayern emerging around the same time.

Now Sky Germany reports that a deal is close.

“Now Bayern have to find an agreement with Manchester City.”

Walker has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €17.3 million but there is no indication yet what sort of transfer fee Man City might expect for a player who appears to be on the periphery of Guardiola’s thinking.
The 33-year-old England star has agreed a contract with Bayern until 2025, with the option of another year.
Bayern still in Kane talks
Harry Kane remains on the agenda at Bayern Munich, though they have not yet struck an agreement with the England captain’s Tottenham side.
Bild has reported that Bayern’s bosses have visited Spurs supremo Daniel Levy to discuss a move, but while the atmosphere was said to be positive and talks are moving in the right direction, there has been no breakthrough in negotiations.
Further talks are scheduled for the days ahead, with Kane’s future at Tottenham, where his contract expires next summer, still unclear.
