Mbappe's best transfer options
Kylian Mbappe's days as a Paris Saint-Germain player are numbered - but are Real Madrid really his best-suited future destination?
The 24-year-old has been excluded from PSG's Japan tour and transfer listed, according to Fabrizio Romano. This comes in the wake of Mbappe informing the French giants that he will not trigger his contract extension, meaning that he will be a free agent next term.
Unwilling to let a hundred-million euro investment leave for nothing, PSG are now open to offloading Mbappe this summer. Ultimately, however, the ball is in the player's court as he is under no obligation to accept any offers coming in for him right now - and he likely won't do so as he is due a fat loyalty bonus if he stays with PSG for one more season.

Real Madrid are expected to be Mbappe's next club and the suspicion at PSG is that he already has an agreement for a 2024 transfer with Los Blancos. Indeed, using SciSports' career advice tool, it is clear that Mbappe and Real Madrid would be a match made in heaven.
The Spaniards could look to Mbappe to replace Karim Benzema as Los Blancos have a club fit of 74 with Mbappe playing as centre-forward, the highest of any side besides PSG. But the 24-year-old wouldn't just be well-suited to Madrid.
Premier League options?
The data also tells us that Liverpool and Manchester City would be good options for Mbappe. In fact, the model predicts that the Frenchman - already one of the best players in the world - could develop even more in the Premier League than in Spain.
The two side's playing styles would also suit Mbappe better than Carlo Ancelotti's, according to the algorithm. The likelihood of the player moving to the clubs in question is also taken into account, however, which means that Real Madrid still beat out their Premier League competitors.
