Man Utd Transfer News: Loan bid REVEALED for £73m FLOP
Manchester United have vetoed Borussia Dortmund's efforts to take Jadon Sancho back to the Bundesliga for the coming season.
Sancho moved to Old Trafford from BVB in the summer of 2021 for a fee worth £73m, making him the second most expensive English player of all time behind team-mate Harry Maguire.

But the forward has struggled to reproduce his best form at United, scoring just 12 goals in 79 appearances in all competitions since that transfer.
He has now fallen down the pecking order under Erik ten Hag, and despite finding himself just two years into a five-year deal is considered expendable by the Reds this summer.
But Dortmund retain fond memories of their former teen prodigy, prompting them into an opportunistic enquiry that nevertheless failed to prosper.
United not interested in loan switch
According to the Daily Star, BVB offered to take Sancho back on loan for the 2023-24 season.
That enquiry was dismissed out of hand by United, who are only interested in discussing a permanent move for the struggling 23-year-old.
The Red Devils would reportedly consider bids in the region of £45m, significantly less than their initial outlay but still a reasonable fee for Sancho at this low point in his young career.
His chances of first-team football look set to be squeezed even further next term as teenage sensation Alejandro Garnacho picks up more regular minutes behind Antony on the wing, while Mason Mount's move from Chelsea will also limit his opportunities unless he experiences a rapid return to his best.
