Man Utd duo close to exit after pre-season SNUB
Manchester United pair Alex Telles and Eric Bailly are on the verge of leaving the club after failing to report back to the club for pre-season training.
The duo were due back later than the majority of the Red Devils squad after partaking in international commitments at the end of the 2022/23 season.
However, they have not reported back to Man Utd’s Carrington training base, despite being expected to last week. According to Manchester Evening News, both Telles and Bailly have not returned for pre-season training because they are not included in Erik ten Hag’s plans.

Furthermore, they are set to be omitted from the club’s squad for the pre-season tour of the United States of America. United will play Lyon in Scotland on 19 July before immediately jetting off to New Jersey to face Arsenal three days later.
The Red Devils also have fixtures against Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the States, before returning to Old Trafford for their penultimate pre-season friendly against Lens. Their final match in preparation for the new season comes against Athletic Club on 6 August in Dublin.
But, Telles and Bailly will not be involved in any of those games as Man Utd seek permanent sales away from the club.

Both players have just one year left on their Old Trafford deals and United will either sell the pair this summer or let them leave for free next year.
Where could Telles and Bailly go?
Brazilian full-back Telles spent last season on loan at La Liga side Sevilla and helped the side lift the Europa League trophy after defeating Jose Mourinho’s Roma in the final. In total, Telles made 38 appearances in all competitions last term and was a fixture in the Sevilla starting XI.
As for Bailly, he struggled to stamp his authority at French side Marseille and ultimately played just 17 times for the club. The Ivorian missed seven games through injury and was not first-choice in Ligue 1.
It remains to be seen if any potential suitors emerge for either player.
