Romano gives Man Utd two reasons to be POSITIVE over Hojlund transfer

Rasmus Hojlund continues to prioritise a transfer to Man Utd this summer, according to football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, who says that a deal hinges on the willingness of the Old Trafford club to get it done.
Erik ten Hag’s side have been seeking a centre-forward all summer, and with it evident that Tottenham’s Harry Kane is still beyond the reach of the club financially, it is ultimately to Atalanta youngster Hojlund that they have turned.
The transfer race has been complicated by Man Utd’s stuttering takeover bid but could also be derailed by late interest from PSG, who could lose Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid or the Saudi Pro League.

Both European giants have launched bids for Hojlund in recent days, each offering an up-front fee of €50 million to Atalanta, while United threw in potential bonuses of €10m on top of that. According to reports from France, the player already has an agreement over personal terms with both clubs.
According to Romano, though, Hojlund has already made his choice as to where he ideally wants to be playing next season.
“Rasmus Hojlund wants Man Utd, it’s been very clear since day one of these negotiations and these final days of the week could be crucial,” Romano says.

“PSG bid hasn’t changed Hojlund’s mind at this stage: priority Man Utd. The club is set for a new round of talks with Atalanta.
“It’s up to Man Utd now.”
Atalanta edge closer to Hojlund replacement
El Bilal Toure will sign for Atalanta as Hojlund’s replacement, Romano reports. The Almeria striker is poised to make a €31 million move from Spain, with €28m to be paid guaranteed. There is already a 15% sell-on clause.
The Mali international scored seven goals in 20 LaLiga matches last season, including the winner against champions Barcelona, having made his senior debut with Reims in France.
