Man Utd tipped to raid Real Madrid for another Varane
Manchester United are keeping tabs on Real Madrid duo David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger after missing out on Kim Min-jae, according to sensational reports in Spain.
The Red Devils are set to complete the signing of Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana in the coming days, having let David de Gea leave at the end of his contract, while Atalanta wonderkid Rasmus Hojlund is their number one target to fill the void up front.
However, Erik ten Hag’s side remain insistent on bringing in another centre-back as questions about Harry Maguire’s future ramp up.

The England international was demoted to fourth-choice by the Dutch manager last season and has been heavily linked with an exit as he views a starting place in the Three Lions’ 2024 European Championship squad.
Gareth Southgate has told his players they must continue to play regularly at club level in order to be included in the starting XI at the tournament - something Maguire is unlikely to do next campaign.
With Maguire teetering on the edge of an Old Trafford departure, the Red Devils have lined up Real Madrid pair Alaba and Rudiger as potential additions this summer.

Man Utd in for Real Madrid stars
According to Spanish outlet El Nacional, Man Utd have turned their attention to Alaba and Rudiger after Kim Min-jae chose to join Bayern Munich this summer.
The South Korean international was previously their number one target at centre-back, but his decision to move to the Bundesliga has forced Man Utd to alter their transfer plans. However, he is still yet to officially join the Bavarian outfit.
The report states that Alaba is ‘considering listening to Man Utd’s offer,’ while Ten Hag is ‘optimistic’ of sealing a deal for the versatile Austrian.
On the other hand, Rudiger is another player being looked at by the Red Devils’ hierarchy, although Florentino Perez is reportedly determined to keep hold of the Germany star, after only arriving from Chelsea last summer.
Real Madrid have a history of selling to Man Utd, with Casemiro moving from Los Blancos to Manchester in 2022, and Raphael Varane making the same move two years prior. Dating even further back, Real Madrid sold Angel Di Maria to the Red Devils in 2014, though that move didn’t quite work out.
