Amrabat's agent provides HUGE transfer update amid Man Utd interest
Sofyan Amrabat’s agent has revealed that “quite a few clubs” are interested in signing his client this summer as rumours linking the Fiorentina midfielder with a move to Manchester United continue.
The Moroccan international shone at the 2022 World Cup and his performances in Qatar attracted interest from clubs across the continent, including Man Utd and Barcelona.
Man Utd appear the most likely to sign Amrabat and at the start of July, FootballTransfers exclusively reported that the Fiorentina star is Erik ten Hag’s number one midfield priority.

However, the Red Devils are waiting to complete a deal for Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund and to sell Brazilian midfielder Fred. Personal terms have been agreed with Denmark international Hojlund, but Man Utd have not yet matched his €100 million asking price.
Despite already adding Mason Mount to his squad, after his €64.2m move from Chelsea, Ten Hag is still keen on acquiring another midfield body and Amrabat is his key target. But, he’s not alone in his admiration for the Moroccan.

What has said?
Mahmoud El Boustati, Amrabat’s agent, has revealed that his client has garnered plenty of attention this summer.
He told Voetbal Primeur: “Quite a few clubs are interested in Sofyan. It is now a matter of making the right choice. He is still just a Fiorentina player and he reported to Fiorentina on Monday.
“If something interesting comes up, Sofyan is open to the step, Fiorentina too. There are two, three clubs that he is open to. There is interest from Saudi Arabia. But there is no concrete offer or concrete interest.”
According to Italian media outlet, Corriere della Sera, Amrabat has rejected a move to Liverpool due to his desire to join Man Utd.
Following news of Jordan Henderson’s potential exit to the Saudi Pro League, Liverpool made a move for Amrabat - but the player’s first-choice destination is Old Trafford.
