Man Utd prepare €60m offer for Serie A star they DON'T need
Manchester United are considering a €60 million offer for AC Milan and France superstar Theo Hernandez, according to reports.
Hernandez, 25, has been at Milan since 2019 when Real Madrid decided to offload him to the Serie A club in order to sign Ferland Mendy from Olympique Lyonnais.
Now, Mendy has been linked with an exit from the Santiago Bernabeu and Hernandez has blossomed into one of the world’s best full-backs at San Siro.

However, he could be on the move again following reports of interest from Man Utd. According to Fichajes, the Red Devils are considering submitting a €60m bid for the Frenchman as Erik ten Hag continues to look for improvements on his current squad.
So far, Mason Mount has been their only summer signing, although Inter Milan’s Andre Onana and Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund are both expected to move to Old Trafford this summer too.

Man Utd don’t need Hernandez
While Hernandez is one of the very best in the world in his position, Man Utd don’t need him. Ten Hag already has both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia at his disposal, while Alex Telles has also returned from his loan spell at Sevilla, although he could be moved on during the window.
Furthermore, with Atalanta demanding a vast sum of money for Hojlund - and not accepting a player-plus-cash deal - the Red Devils would be better served saving their money to sign the Denmark international, who appears to be their top number nine target.
With Fred and Scott McTominay both linked with exits too, another central midfielder - preferably a more defensive-minded one - may be needed to cover for Casemiro. The Brazilian missed eight Premier League games through suspension last season and there is no natural replacement for him in the Man Utd squad at current.
Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly keeping tabs on Hernandez, although they are also well-stocked in that area with Nuno Mendes and Juan Bernat.
If Man Utd are serious about signing Hernandez, then €60m is a fair fee given the defender has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €55m.
