Man Utd urged to make SHOCK transfer for Arsenal star
Manchester United legend Paul Ince thinks his old club should try to sign Thomas Partey from Arsenal, as the Gunners close in on Declan Rice.
Rice is poised to make a British-record £105m million switch from West Ham to the Emirates Stadium, and Arsenal may have to offload players to help pay for that transfer.
Partey has been linked with a move away from last season’s Premier League runners-up – and Ince feels the Ghanaian international would fit ideally into Man Utd’s midfield.

In an interview with Betway, Ince – a member of United’s first two Premier League title-winning sides – said: “Look at Casemiro, Fernandes, Christian Eriksen… Great players that they are, they’re [Man Utd] still crying out for that one who’s got the legs.
“Basically, a younger version of Casemiro, which isn’t going to be cheap. Obviously, there’s a lot of talk about [Moises] Caicedo.
“I like Franck Kessie at Barcelona – he’s not getting enough game time – there’s also talk about Thomas Partey leaving Arsenal.
“You think about the first six months of the [2022/23] season, Partey was absolutely fantastic. [Then] Jorginho came in and, for some reason, he [Partey] stopped getting games.”

Arsenal's summer clear-out
Partey joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid in October 2020 and has gone on to make 99 appearances for the club – including 40 in all competitions last term.
The 30-year-old has two years left to run on his contract at the Emirates and is currently rated at €20.5m (£17.5m) by our in-house Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) model.
So far this summer, the Gunners have sold two senior players: Pablo Mari joined Monza for €7m (£6m) last month, with Granit Xhaka completing a €25m (£21.4m) switch to Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday (July 6).
