Erik ten Hag sees Harry Kane as the ideal No.9 for his Man Utd project but FootballTransfers understands that Tottenham are not pressuring chairman Daniel Levy into any sale.

There have been suggestions that Joe Lewis has implored Levy to sell this window but we are told that the club’s stance is that they want Kane to sign a fresh contract and that it would take well over £100 million for the club to let him go.

The club’s owner remains confident in Levy and seldom meddles in the day-to-day running of the side.

If Man Utd can recoup enough money from player sales, they could make a move for Kane, but given the fact a third bid is expected from Bayern Munich and also Spurs’ reluctance to sell to a Premier League club, it looks unlikely as things stand.

Ten Hag sees Atalanta's Rasmus Hojlund as a versatile attacker and wants a traditional striker to come in alongside the youngster, who had a breakout season last campaign in Serie A.

The club are confident of reaching a deal and the player has signalled that he would rather move to Old Trafford than head to Paris Saint-Germain.

Man Utd table RECORD Kylian Mbappe BID - Report

Man Utd have tabled a massive offer of €120 million plus €45 million in add-ons for PSG megastar Kylian Mbappe .

That is according to Fichajes, who reported that United have officially entered the race for the PSG superstar.

The offer consists of €120m up-front plus €45m if certain conditions are met.

The offer arrives in the wake of Mbappe being excluded by PSG from their summer tour of Japan.

PSG have made it clear to Mbappe that he will be sold this summer - and may not play again for the club - unless he renews his contract that expires a year from now.

Man Utd get major BOOST in bid to sign Sofyan Amrabat

Manchester United’s pursuit of Fiorentina and Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has been boosted by news that Tottenham Hotspur star Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is on the verge of joining Atletico Madrid.

The Denmark international has agreed personal terms with Diego Simeone’s side and has moved closer to a transfer to the Spanish capital, according to The Times.

Previously, Atletico Madrid were also interested in signing Amrabat and looked to be one of Man Utd’s main competitors for his signature. In fact, reports from Morocco even suggested that Amrabat has agreed personal terms with Simeone’s side and was closing in on a move to the Wanda Metropolitano.

However, it seems as though the Spanish giants have switched their attention to signing Hojbjerg, giving Man Utd a free run at signing Amrabat.

Hojlund drops MASSIVE Man Utd social media hint

Rasmus Hojlund has seemingly confirmed his desire to join Man Utd this summer thanks to his recent social media activity.

The Atalanta forward is being heavily pursued by the Red Devils as they look to solve their issues in the central striker position.

Hojlund, 20, has emerged as their primary candidate for this role and talks are currently ongoing with Atalanta. However, the Serie A side’s asking price is proving to be a stumbling block for Erik ten Hag’s men.

His recent social media activity has also fuelled speculation that the move is nearing its completion.

With United’s pursuit of Hojlund ramping up, the 20-year-old recently ‘liked’ a picture of Andre Onana being welcomed by Ten Hag after his move to Old Trafford was confirmed. The picture was posted on Man Utd’s official Instagram account and was captioned: “The moment we were waiting for.”

Hojlund admitted back in January that he is a Man Utd fan and with the striker market fairly thin at current - thanks to Napoli pricing Victor Osimhen out of a move and Eintracht Frankfurt demanding a huge fee for Randal Kolo Muani - he has raced clear as the Red Devils’ first-choice summer target.

Hojlund netted nine goals in Serie A last season, as well as providing four assists.

Romano shares major Amad Diallo BOOST

Young star Amad Diallo is something of a darling for Man Utd fans on social media, so imagine the panic when he went down injured after being on the pitch for just 14 minutes of Saturday's showdown with Arsenal.

It appeared any chance the Ivorian might have to impress Erik ten Hag this summer could be lost, as he left MetLife Stadium on crutches with an apparent ankle injury.

Later though, per Fabrizio Romano, Amad revealed that the injury is not a major concern, bringing huge relief to his legion of admiring fans.

Saudis want another Man Utd FLOP - this time it's Bailly

Man Utd have been granted another boost as they look to clear out their deadwood.

Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr are looking to give Eric Bailly a way out of Old Trafford. The defender spent last season on loan with Marseille, but he failed to impress in France.

There was an option to make the move permanent, but after a poor season, the French club ultimately decided against it.

Bailly is contracted to Man Utd until 2024, which means the club must sell now in order to ensure that they recoup some money for the player.

Ten Hag omitted the 29-year-old from his pre-season squad, as the club tours the States. It’s clear that the defender is not in the Dutchman’s plans ahead of the new season.

Al-Nassr have already signed former United star Cristiano Ronaldo and also bought Alex Telles. Now seems that Bailly is next, according to Sky Sports - with a deal thought to be around £20million.
