Mudryk has Chelsea fans DREAMING as €100m transfer flop SHINES

Chelsea's €100m transfer flop Mykhaylo Mudryk produced a stunning performance on Sunday to give Blues fans hope that he could indeed be a superstar in the making.
Mudryk struggled in the Premier League last season after joining the Blues from Shakhtar Donetsk during the January transfer window for that massive fee. He had looked for most of the month like joining Arsenal before Todd Boehly and co pulled off a last-ditch hijack.
The general concensus was that the 22-year-old Mudryk had a lot of pace, but not much else as he failed to score in 15 Premier League games, providing just two assists in terms of meaningful contributions.

Now it seems though Mudryk could just be starting to turn things around, with the catalyst being his decision to play for his country Ukraine in the European U-21 Championships. It is paying off handsomely.
On Sunday in Cluj, Romania, Mudryk produced his best display yet as Ukraine roared back from a goal down to defeat mighty France 3-1 in their quarter-final showdown.
Mudryk wonder show too good for France
The Chelsea man was instrumental in a terrific comeback for Ukraine, providing a pair of tantalising assists.
Ukraine were behind early as another hot transfer property - Lyon's Rayan Cherki - opened the scoring after 19 minutes.
Mudryk though would soon start to right the ship for Ukraine, cutting into the penalty area and being fouled as he jinked past a France defender. Georgiy Sudakov converted the resulting penalty to level the scores.
A minute before half-time Mudryk produced the moment of the match with an exquisite pass to help put Ukraine in front. He looked up from just inside his own half before producing a perfect pass through the France defence for Sudakov to round the goalkeeper and make it 2-1.
Artem Bondarenko would add a third, four minutes from time, to complete the sensational Ukraine win. But it was Mudryk who took the plaudits.
Now Mudryk and co will face Spain in the semi-finals on Wednesday as the Chelsea man seeks to further redeem his reputation.
