Romano says Man Utd have 'MATCH POINT' for top transfer target
Manchester United are edging closer to a move for Rasmus Hojlund after Atalanta secured the signing of El Bilal Toure, with Fabrizio Romano saying that the club have the ‘match point’ over the move.
Erik ten Hag is targeting the youngster to bolster this attack but so far the Serie A club have not found an agreement with the Premier League outfit.
But that may all change now that Atalanta have agreed to a deal with Almeria for Toure, beating Everton the Mali international.

In any case, Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel, said that now Man Utd are in pole position to land the player.
He said: “Man Utd are preparing a new attack, they are being very aggressive in the negotiation. Atalanta are expecting a new bid. Man Utd feel they have a match point in the Rasmusd Hojund.
"The club know that the player wants to join. PSG did send a bid but Hojlund is obsessed with Man Utd. But now Man Utd have to show, in terms of money, that they are obsessed with Rasmus Hojlund.”
Confidence Hojlund will arrive
Man Utd are wanting to bring in Hojund before their season starts against Wolves on 14 August. The club do not wish to pay more than £60million but there is confidence that the club will eventually clinch the deal.

After Wednesday’s 2-0 loss in a friendly to Real Madrid at Houston’s NRG Stadium, manager Ten Hag was asked about the Denmark international. “We never talk about players under contract with another club,” he said. “We have our targets, we are 24/7 busy with it, with the right player to sign a contract with us.”
Ten Hag is thought to be targeting Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat when the sale of Fred or Scott McTominay is made.
