Tottenham open transfer talks over international star
Tottenham have opened transfer talks with Spartak Moscow over a potential transfer for Davinson Sanchez.
The Colombia international has been given the green light to leave the club and is negotiating a transfer with the Muscovites.
It is expected that a deal could be concluded for around €15 million for the former Ajax star, who still has a year to run on his contract with the club.

Agent Fernando Shena confirmed to the Russian outlet Championnat that the clubs are negotiating.
“As far as I know, Spartak is in contact with Tottenham, but not yet with the agents. So it is not really concrete yet,” he said.
In addition to the Russian side, Villarreal, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are also interested in the 27-year-old centre-back.

Davinson Sanchez forcing a transfer
Sanchez has been playing at Tottenham Hotspur since the summer of 2017, who spent 440 million signing him from Ajax.
The 54-time international (1 goal) was a starting player at the English club in his first few seasons, but has lately had to make do with a substitute role. Last term he only played 1,231 minutes in 24 games, of which 360 minutes in the FA Cup and EFL Cup.
Fabrizio Romano previously announced that the central defender has submitted a transfer request to leave the London club after six seasons.
Spartak Moscow have been looking for a central defender since the definitely departure of Maximiliano Caufriez.
The 26-year-old Belgian was on the books of the Russian club since the summer of 2021, having signed him over from Sint-Truiden, and he immediately won the Russian Cup in his first season.
Ligue 1 side Clermont Foot have added him to their ranks after a loan period of one year, with his fee coming in at €3.5m. The former youth international signed with the club that finished eighth in Ligue 1 until 2026.
