Osimhen's agent provides DEFINITIVE update on Napoli star's future
Roberto Calenda, Victor Osimhen’s agent, has responded to claims suggesting he is exploring options for his client this summer.
Osimhen, 24, has previously been a target of both Manchester United and Chelsea, although rumours of a move to either Premier League have quietened down lately, with Napoli reportedly setting a €175 million (£150m) asking price for the Nigerian forward at the start of the window.
Man Utd have turned their attention to Atalanta wonderkid Rasmus Hojlund, while Chelsea have already sealed a deal for Nicolas Jackson, who has arrived from Villarreal for €37m.

Furthermore, the Blues are currently involved in talks with Juventus over Dusan Vlahovic, who could be involved in a deal that sees Romelu Lukaku go the other way.
As for Osimhen, he looks set to stay in Naples after a historic season in which he helped the club win their first Scudetto title since 1990. He netted 31 goals and provided five assists in all competitions in his most productive senior season to date.
In addition, his agent has rubbished claims that suggested he was scouting for potential new clubs for Osimhen this summer. He said: “Reports of my plan to explore all the options now and then not signing a new contract at Napoli are completely fake,” as carried by Fabrizio Romano.

Only PSG can afford Osimhen
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis recently boasted that only PSG could afford to sign Osimhen this summer.
De Laurentiis has now placed an astronomical €200m price tag on Osimhen’s head, a price that certainly now rules out Manchester United.
“The only club that can afford to take Osimhen away from us is Paris Saint-Germain,” De Laurentiis told Sport Mediaset.
“So if Nasser Al-Khelaifi wants to take out 200 or so, then we will wait and evaluate.”
According to Nicolo Schira, Napoli have offered Osimhen a new deal until 2027 with a big salary increase to €6.5 million per season plus bonuses. However, the former Lille star has not yet accepted their offer, which has prompted questions over his future.
