Arsenal still want to complete FIVE transfers before deadline day
Arsenal are reportedly looking to offload five more players by the end of the transfer window, following the departures of Kieran Tierney and Folarin Balogun.
Tierney joined Real Sociedad on a season-long deal earlier this week, with Balogun completing a permanent move to Monaco today.
But there could still be a flurry of exits from the Emirates Stadium between now and Friday’s deadline day.

According to the Daily Star, the Gunners are keen to sell left-back Nuno Tavares, who has been the subject of interest from Nottingham Forest.
Two other defenders could be on their way out, too: Rob Holding has been linked with Sevilla and Real Mallorca, while Cedric Soares is hardly at the forefront of Mikel Arteta’s plans.
Midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga is also surplus to requirements in North London; the Belgium international spent the second half of last season on loan at Crystal Palace.
And the future of Nicolas Pepe – once Arsenal’s record signing – has still yet to be resolved, although the winger appears to on the radar of multiple Saudi Pro League clubs.

Arsenal’s mass exodus to grow?
Arsenal have sold eight players already this summer, with Granit Xhaka and Matt Turner the two most notable to leave other than Balogun.
Meanwhile, last season’s Premier League runners-up have spent the best part of £200m on three signings of their own: Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber – only to see the latter suffer an ACL injury in just his second appearance for the club, which looks set to sideline him until at least the new year.
The Gunners have won two and drawn one of their opening three league games of the 2023/24 campaign; they’re next in action at home to Manchester United on Sunday.
