OUCH! Ansu Fati prefers 'TOP TEAM' over Tottenham amid Chelsea links
Ansu Fati is said to favour a move to a 'top team' over Tottenham, according to Spanish media.
The transfer window is set to close with a bang. With just a couple of days remaining before the deadline, huge news is coming out of Spain. On Tuesday evening, reports broke that Ansu Fati has had a change of heart and now wants out of Barcelona.
The erstwhile heir to Lionel Messi has struggled for game time since first bursting onto the scene in scintillating fashion and that is unlikely to change this season, with the still-only-20-year-old featuring in just 47 minutes across Barcelona's first three LaLiga games of the campaign.
Fabrizio Romano revealed that Fati was offered to Chelsea a few days ago, but he has now stated that the Blues have different targets in mind - like Man City's Cole Palmer - and won't make a move for the Spaniard.

Tottenham, however, have already initiated talks with Barcelona regarding a one-year loan, though their number one priority is Brennan Johnson of Nottingham Forest. Even if a deal were to be agreed, however, it is doubtful whether Fati would want to make the move to north London.
Fati wants 'top team'
That's at least according to Sport, which claims that the 20-year-old wants to sign for a 'top team' rather than Spurs. The report asserts that both Barcelona and the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, are applying pressure on him to change his mind regarding a move to Tottenham, but Fati would prefer clubs like Atletico Madrid and Liverpool.
Barcelona are ready to offload their former wonderkid in a bid to initiate 'Operation Joao Felix' which would see the Atletico Madrid wantaway get his dream move to Catalonia.

If indeed true that Fati would like to move to Atleti, something of a swap deal may even be a distinct possibility. Fabrizio Romano has said on his YouTube channel that the attacker has the option to remain in Spain, though he did not mention the capital club in particular.
Yannick Carrasco is reportedly trying to engineer a move to Saudi Arabia which would open up room for Fati at Atleti. This story is certainly one to keep an eye on.
