CONFIRMED: Lewis Hall set to agree Newcastle terms

Newcastle have offered around £35 million to sign Lewis Hall and personal terms are not expected to be a problem for the 18-year-old Chelsea graduate, FootballTransfers can confirm.
Eddie Howe has switched his attention to the left side of defence and believes Hall will develop into one of the best fullbacks in the Premier League in the coming years.
Hall is hopeful of landing a Newcastle switch, not least because he is a supporter of the club himself. The teenager will also have to compete with Ben Chilwell, Ian Maatsen, and Marc Cucurella for the left-back role at Stamford Bridge, which could impede his ambitions in forging a way into the England squad in the coming years.

Chelsea raise Hall's value with fresh deal
We are told that Chelsea granted Hall a six-year contract, ending in 2030, in a bid to increase his value. The defender has already signed his deal, after agreeing to it in principle last week.
Chelsea’s spending on fees over the last three transfer windows has amounted to around £900m and this has meant the Blues are looking to generate sales. The side deem Hall as surplus to requirements, given the value he has.
Indeed, Chelsea have opted not to send Hall out on loan this window, as was the case before, following the purchases of Romeo Lavia (£58m) and Moises Caicedo (£115m).

We understand Hall is excited to work under Howe and become part of the contingent of young English players who are already working there, including Lewis Miley and the side’s recent purchase from Southampton, Tino Livramento.
Newcastle’s Champions League entry last season was meant to be three years in the making and as a result, the project has been somewhat fast-tracked.
The target was always to build for the years to come. The additions of players such as Hall, if a deal does go through as expected, and Livramento, are very much signings for the future. The belief is that Newcastle will be regular title contenders in seasons to come.
